Okay, good to know.   I think everything is working except possibly have corrosion in that one socket.   I will clean up all the sockets and verify everything is working.    Where do you guys purchase all the stuff needed for the conversion?

To remove an instrument panel bulb you just turn the black socket/cap behind it about 1/4 turn and the "socket" and bulb come out together.  If you have small hands. long arms, and a lot of patience, most of the bulb/socket assemblies can be removed by reaching up behind the panel while laying on the floor.

A little more explanation:
Each black socket has a metal strip around the inner edge that is flat up against the instrument panel circuit board, and there are also two bulb contacts inside the socket.
- When you insert a bulb into the socket it connects with the two metal clips/contacts inside.
- Those clips/contacts are connected to the metal strips on the edge of the socket.
- When you put the socket back into the cluster and turn it about 1/4 turn, the metal strips on the socket contact the circuit board and connect to power and ground.  The flat metal contacts can get tarnished or corroded and not make a good connection.

Ultimately, you will be very pleased with a good quality LED conversion.  They are far brighter than the OEM 194/168 bulbs.

Brings new meaning to 'dim bulb' ;D

I HATE how dim my dash is at night...
