sounds like a good start..
what is the specs on the accel coil?
volts
mA
and duration?
example this is what i run MSD blaster SS coil
http://www.msdignition.com/Products/Coils/Street/Strip/8207_-_MSD_Blaster_SS_Coil.aspx
Turns ratio: 70:1
Primary resistance: .355 OHMs
Secondary resistance: 4.4K OHMs
Inductance: 6.9 mH
Maximum voltage: 40,000 Volts
Peak current: 300 mA
Spark duration: 220 uS

if it fouls make the gap smaller.

or get wires with less resistances

man i was hopeing to see how much mA it was pushing.

.050 would be a good start re-guardless
