Hedman 69096 or 68308 for my 86 with a 350 and auto 3spd?

Staying stock ride height. 2 local people are selling these headers ceramic coated, the 68308 set is considerably closer in driving distance. He also said they were installed for 10 hours on an old chev pickup. (determining what year soon...)

Figured I check here to see if anyone would advise on which ones. Both are priced the same and both are ceramic coated, 68308 is 20 mins away, 69096 are 1.5 hours away.

Cheers,

Are you asking our opinions or what will fit? Have you looked at the headman website?

Basically this guy said he had them installed on an old chevy/gmc truck. I'm waiting to confirm what year he had them on. (he hasn't got back to me yet)

I came on here to see if anyone had a similar experience with the 68308s since there's some headers meant for other GM cars that work on our trucks. Maybe someone tried them before and didn't like how they fit since they have more of a straight down design and don't angle back like the 69096.

If they fit no problem and clear everything (ie steering column etc), the only other issue I can see is I wouldn't be able to purchase a cat back system and have it line up with them since the flanges would be in a different position underneath throwing the entire exhaust off. I would be forced to go to a muffler shop for the rest of my exhaust. So at this point I'm leaning towards the 69096s.

edit: he just emailed me back, he had the 68308s on a 55. I won't be getting these. Cheers.
