I am putting a twin turbo in my stepside and I can't wait to build it but I think the problem you'll run into with this is the cost factor.

I'm always interested in watching someone else install twin turbos, but I'd likely never go for such a setup on my truck.  Too spendy for me.

There is no lag with the STS kits.  We have installed them on SEVERAL cars and trucks.  This is an inaccurate statement.  If you are around here or at a show we have my brothers truck at we will gladly give you a ride.  And ben75 it will definitely make you wet yourself if you aren't expecting it.  This has happened to a few customers that have ridden in my brothers truck.  In addition, you are assuming we are going to mount them in the rear, which most likely in not going to be the case.  I just get the turbo's from STS.

I really have no intention on making a kit for anything other than 73-87 trucks though.  The kit is something I am insterested in since I have 8 of these in every configuration so I can easily adapt it to any of them when I am done..  The way I plan to make the kit will be so the piping for the majority of the kit will be universal to all trucks and the piece that comes out of the intercooler will be the piece that determines what is on the other end.  So if I get it laid out like I want the turbo location will be standard for all kits and will allow for the variations on which motor is in it.

As for non 73-87's, there are several people that can take that on. Now if a customer comes in and wants us to put a Turbo on a Chevelle and are willing to pay for it, sure.  We put one on a Ford 2 Door Explorer, so there are no limitations on what we will put them on.

I think it sounds very interesting. So much so that I've been getting parts for over a year now to do a blowthru on my 85'. Its been done quite a few times if anyone's noticed on youtube, dragtruk, any other sites. From my experience, smaller twins spool a lot faster then a large single and make more power at lower boost levels. The borg warner S300 series would work great for this app and they're not so expensive. Check out the 1200 horse camaro at http://www.bullseyepower.com/racing.asp?id=4.
For my C10 I bought two of these, http://www.agpturbo.com/product.php?productid=16435&cat=333&page=1

I think there are enough 73-87 trucks out there with enthusiast owners that it could be a viable product. If you could design it so it fit Blazers and 'burbs too then that would open that much more market (like me.) Then all I have to do is win the lottery!

I have every model offered crew, burb, Regular cab and blazer, and that is definitely the direction I plan to take it.

Talked to someone this Friday about helping put this setup together.  Still waiting on the delivery though.  Bump for more feedback.

I think its a cool idea. I've pondered on building my own single or twin setup on my 86 since the motor that's in it was originaly built for boost about 8:1cr with 64cc heads.

Cool but by going with the SLP design you limit your market to the RWD only crowd.  Not many people are going to want to take the chance of tearing off 7500 everytime they hit the bush to go 4 wheeling. I would only be interested in a total underhood system.

What does SLP design mean?  It won't be RWD only, if I can get it patterned out.

Twins would be sweet, I'll never be able to swing 7500 though, I'm having trouble coming up with 750 to get my 74 out of impound.
