Title: Window regulator help (not truck)
Post by: Stewart G Griffin on February 24, 2018, 06:03:44 PM
The cable doesn't move very easily by hand.

Now, when i take the cable off the wheel, the cable moves pretty freely, but once i loop the cable around the wheel and there's tension on the whole system, it's difficult to move.  And YES the wheels move freely when the cable is off.

Any suggestions to free it up?   i'm just trying to avoid spending $80 for a new regulator, but will if i have to.   This is not for a truck, obviously.

Also, what type of grease to use?   This one has plenty of grease, but just in case i have to get a new one.
