That looks like the wiring harness connector for the dual fuel tank switch on trucks with dual fuel tanks.

There are a few questions that need to be answered.

First off, does the truck have dual fuel tanks?

Ok. So, you have a dual fuel tank truck that is missing one of the tanks.

Question 2, is there anything under or on the truck that is left from the dual tank setup? Like wiring to switching valve, the switching valve itself, gas tank mounts, fuel filler hole on side that is just a hole now, fuel lines on the crossmember to feed the fuel from one side to the switch valve, the actual switch that that harness goes to, it would be a square hole in the dash next to the ash tray. Is any of this still there?
