I got mine from Summit, I believe it was the "Flowtech" set. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+4294923429+4294922451+4294908216+4294840140+4294908181+115+4294925074 I wanted mine to exit behind the rear wheels.IIRC, a member has used the 2wd set that Chris sells work on a 4wd, if you wanted it in stainless
Yes the X-pipe wouldn't work on a 4wd. Check this post, page 3 "86 chevy silverado" posted a couple of pics where he used Chris's system with an "h" pipe instead.http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=9333.15I didn't use crossover pipe in mine, I want to see if this setup rots off in the first year.
I just stumbled on this thread and thought I'd comment. Chris's exhaust is a good bang for the buck and the pypes exhaust sounds awesome (granted I have a worked over big block). It can be adapted to a 4wd with little work and creativity (read the post). I could not find an 2 1/2" exhaust for the 4wd and refused to go with the 2 1/4".I am going to weld mine together with bolt on flanges in some spots for easy removal in the future. Post any questions if you care to, I'll stay tuned.
Hmph looks like Chris just needs to make things easier to look at in the Store, and have a pic with an H-Pipe for 4WD trucks
