Differential extension hose?
« on: December 04, 2016, 11:11:01 PM »
Really dumb and simple question but where should I get an extended differential hose? After I lifted my truck the lines are too short. Can I just get some lines the same size from any hardware store and put it on the old fittings? I'm guessing that's how it works but I'm just checking, also what size line should it be? It's for an 85 GMC k15 with 6inches of lift

I'd use SAE J30R7 emissions hose it'll put up with the hot oil in the PCV vapor so it'll put up with axle vent gases. The jacket will put up with ozone and other nasty chemicals under the truck.

Jack it up so the suspension is at full travel on each axle.  You can figure it out from there.
Not sure on the hose size.  I'm sure you still have the old hose and vent cap so you can figure it out.
