Title: Hello from Germany
Post by: Shovel on February 12, 2019, 11:59:22 AM
Hello, my name is Martin. I am 40 years old and from Hamburg in Germany. I‘ve bought a Chevy C20 in November and i hope i can fix up this Chevy bit by bit. I think the substance is well.
It‘s build year is 1979, comes from Oregon and i am the third owner.
My english is upgradable but i think i can learn here a lot of and find help if i need some tips.
I‘ve replaced the carburator and the battery  till yet ( Now Edelbrock 600 ccm ) and currently i dismantle the radiator and it will be refurbished.

 Hello from California.

Good luck on your quest in getting your truck back on the road. This place is good enough for info to start getting what you need.

Yes, a lot to do is not.The Chevy is converted and licensed. The Engine runs great with the new carburettor , the battery holder is top too now. The radiator is in work. After this i need a new carpet or rubber mat and some work at the gauges. I hope that‘s all for the first time and i can enjoy the summer.

She doesn't need much work.  That's one of the more unusual exterior color combinations.  Nice truck.
If you still have the original Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor I would suggest that you hang onto it.  The Edelbrock carbs are less reliable than the original Rochester.  You may eventually want to have it re-worked and re-install it.

I'm just the opposite.  That blue is gorgeous.
It'd be a boring world if everyone liked the same things.   Again nice truck...
