I need to know what parts I should probably order when I overhaul my 134a A/C system.  I found metal bits in the orifice tube so I know I have to open the system to flush out all of the refrigerant lines.  The system never had a fast leak, so I think the loss of 134a was at the compressor that presumably failed.  So I plan to replace the compressor and I need to know what else I should order.  Off the top of my head:

orifice tube
flush tool and cleaning solvent
compressor oil
seals?  which ones?

This engine is a 454 from a 1988 Suburban, and I suspect the whole AC system is too.  The compressor is the shorter, more compact style that uses a serpentine belt.  I have a vacuum pump and manifold gauges.

Tilt steering

About 3 days ago my ignition would turn but not do anything.
I took the steering column apart and found that the actuator rod  had bent and slipped off the ignition rod. I bought a new one and installed it today, it will start but its hard to turn to start and wont go into acc. NEED HELP!

I have a 74 c10 and I changed the shift shaft seal , I had to pull out the shifter to get it out because I stripped the seal with the tool that I bought to pull it out with, well I got it all back together and now it wonít go into gear so I dropped the pan again and made sure everything was back the way itís supposed to be and it was , well before I put the pan back on I wanna make sure that I there isnít another cause that could be addressed before I install the pan back on , can someone please advise me to check other possible problems, and also my accumulator cover is leaking Iím going to change the o-ring before I put the pan back on , Iím not very good at mechanics but you tube videos sure help

1982 GMC K1500 4 x 4 350 with TH350 Transmission

Shew, Do not know where to start. Have a noise that I thought was a rod bearing near the back of the motor. Was going to pull it up on ramps this morning & drop the oilpan to see BUT the sound is gone now that everything is cool. I have had this noise on & off for about a month.

Yesterday I checked the torque converter bolts and 1 of the 3 was loose but the other 2 were tight so it is not that.

What am I missing? Could it be the transmission going out? Do rod bearings not have slack when cooled off?

I am at a loss and would appreciate any help or advice I could get. Thank you in advance.

Addenum: Could it be a valve issue?
