NEW MEMBER -- GEORGIA

HELLO EVERYONE, I have looked over this site and there is a lot of helpful info on here and great photos.
so I thought I would sign up and show a photo of my truck ,, It,s not much but I,m buying up parts for the truck now. going to start with the body first cause it is bad ,well like all the other chevy truck rust in the same place,s - fenders-floors-cab corners - rockers -etc.
I got this truck a few years ago , my grandpaw give it to me I was happy to get the truck ,but I,m not a chevy man so I did not care about fixing the old truck so it just sit in the drive way for 2 years . my grandpaw passed away in OCT. He loved this old truck. so I told my wife I have got to fix the truck . so I,m going to get up the body parts this winter and start work this spring .
the TRUCK IS A 1976 GMC
when I start work I will need some info on body work I have never cut out parts and replaced them .

this photo was took a few years back , I will try to get a newer photo up soon

i guess one photo at a time . i plan to do a custom  restoration. i don't have much planed out yet.
i did find a junk yard today with alot of these trucks with good front ends and doors,
the junkyard was closed but i looked around i saw about 6 of these truck most still complete.
i hope i can get a good deal on some parts.
