howdy from centerville, indiana
« on: December 20, 2008, 10:36:29 AM »
Im 19 and just bought my first project truck. 1986 silverado k-20. plans are in the future are to completely redo the truck, lift it 4 or 6 more inchs and take out the 350/700r4 package and put in a 6bt 12valve cummins diesel and nv4500 manual tranny in. its going to take a couple of years but i'll do it. originally wanted to do this to a 73-78(dont like the 79-80 grill style) but i couldnt turn this truck down. it was close, cheap and only needs rockers and a little patch panel behind the passenger rear wheel. i love it right now and really proud of it. thanks for takin me in on your forum and take er easy
