Newby in PA
« on: December 26, 2008, 01:37:47 AM »
Hello folks!  Well I've joined a forum for every interest I've had from Jeeps and bikes to lawnmowers and I was a little concerned if I would find one for the next project!  Well after snooping around on here for a night or two it's obvious that you guys have a quality collection of members and knowledge so here I am!  I have a 1980 Chevy Sport step side 4WD in the garage that's managed to stay with me since high school and it's time to think of giving it a much deserved face lift.  The 'ol girl has survived ex-girlfriends, college tuition, engagement rings (2), mortgages (2) and now a little girl (her future owner) so it's time.

My main concern is the body because there isn't much of it there anymore and secondly, I have no skill with bodywork!  Looking forward to learning and asking stupid questions!

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I haven't had a chance to fill out the profile yet so I'm outside the State College area.  You know the drinking town with the football problem...!  Joepa has a new set of wheels now so he'll be around for another 40 years or so.
