Hey the best way to learn is to do something first hand. It's going to be an awesome truck!

Ok still working on what to do about rims.  I have found rally rims new at Summit for about $70 ea. rim only.  Bout 430 for the whole setup.  Or I could throw some alloys on there.  I was hoping for feed back.

As it stands I need 15x8 rims that will be fitted with Pirelli Scorpion ATR's.  It is tall tire 235/75R15

I would get rid of the tall tires and no offense to anyone with Ralley's but they are as dull and boring as it gets.

Tall tires unfortunately will stay.  They are at the right price.  ::)

The rims are up for debate.  I have always liked the rally wheels on almost all old chevy products, but I am worried it wont look right with tall ATR's.

Any links to suggestions would be appreciated!

I asked the guy at the body shop to match the atomic orange that is used on the new vettes.  its not exact im sure but its still sexy in my opinion.

Thanks for the feed back!

I agree, but chrome is $$  I have a bit more in this project than the wife was planning on.  It will be a future addition.

I have done some figures and it looks like i can bring in the whole project in under 10K!  That is only 8k over the original budget! :)

Getting there.  Got the bed wood done.  Got the seat done.  Need to get a few more holes drilled in the bed and it will start to come together.

Not much progress.  The glass is in, the back fenders are on. All other progress has been in the wiring harness, brakes, cables, etc.  A lot of work just not visible

235/75 should look ok since it a stock tire size, but 255/70 would look a little better though but since the price was wright on the 235 its ok, and it was also look good with non factory looking chrome wheels, but since it a project you could all way change parts later
