removing rear window slider help needed

I am in need of some assistance on how to remove a rear window slider w/o destroying it.I am going to be cutting the roof off my 80 and its going to the J/Y in about a week or so so i need some help on the proper way to remove it ..

all the ways ive seen it done by the pros is just to go inside and give it a good push! of course have someone catch it, and if you need more power then lay on the seat and use your legs

I took your advise but i used a couple of long flathead screwdrivers and took my time and it popped right out so i can now cut the roof off since i got the windshield out as well..
