Blown Tail Lamp Fuse
« on: August 28, 2017, 11:10:58 PM »
The brown wire coming out of what all the diagrams say is an unused terminal at the headlight switch, was grounded, thus catering the T/L ctsy fuse to blow.
I don't know what this wire is yet, but I cut it and all of lights work.
Except for the tag and under dash lights.
Horrible solution, but it's currently a daily and it was getting late.
Any ideas in what this wire is feeding

Brown is generally the tail and optional cab clearance lamp circuits.

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

I have read a few posts where people have had similar issues when an aftermarket head unit was installed. PO did this as well
