oil dipstick/tube
« on: November 09, 2017, 06:50:44 PM »
Hey folks. I got a problem with the factory oil dipstick tube. My new headers are Hooker's #2452. They will not fit-up to the block because of the dipstick tube. Does anyone know of an after-market stick/tube that will hug the block and clear these headers? Brand name and part # would be very cool. My dipstick enters the block at the oil pan, so I'm thinking a tube length of around 12 inches. Pics included. Thanks.

Lokar makes a braided flexible dipstick. I don’t know any part numbers but Summit Racing should have it.

Or get the 1991 suburban 5/7L dipstick and tube.
