Warning about Trico wipers...
« on: November 09, 2017, 11:29:16 PM »
Just a heads up to anyone looking to get Trico wipers. The universal bracket on some of their styles are cheap garbage. I bought a set of Trico Ultra wipers and put them on my bayonet style wiper bar. They twisted while wiping and I nearly lost one on the interstate. The Trico NeoFlex or whatever doesn't seem to share the same connector though.

It's amazing how poorly wiper blades are made now. I broke 4 wiper blades last winter, Rain X blades were the worst, Bosch were right behind them. Bought cheap anco blades and they work mint.

I'm trying these Trico NeoFlex beam style blades. We'll see how it goes. I couldn't believe how cheap and flimsy that connector was. I'll put the pic on imgur and link it.

I still put refills in the old blades, though a one piece is probably better.

Whenever asking for wiper refills, I usually get a blank stare from the person behind the parts counter...

Do parts stores even carry refills anymore?  That is all I want, but all they have on the floor anymore is the whole dang thing!

i know working at autozone very rarely would someone buy the refills. most times the people that wanted wipers waited till it was pouring down rain and would ask us to do them.
