Ignition Issues...
« on: February 16, 2018, 05:33:30 PM »
I recently did intake manifold gaskets on my 5.7 sbc
After getting everything back together, it won’t run. It turns over fine, but I have no spark. I started tracing things back, and I have power at the ignition coil but not the spark terminals on the cap. I replaced the distributor along with the coil, cap, module, everything. I’m pretty stumped, if you have any input I would really appreciate it.

HEI needs 12 volts at the ignition coil terminal on the cap. Where are you measuring 6 volts?

Measuring 6 volts at the connector that goes to the ignition module. I am getting 12 to the coil though
