LS starter solenoid
«

So I'm hooking up the starter and I torqued the nut on the starter switch wire and broke the stud. I got the solenoid off but can't see if there's a way to get the stud out. Any suggestions? I know these are cheap but I'm mad I torqued it too hard.
Thanks

Probably an easy out is going to be your best bet... but you might spend about as much on a new solenoid

The machine screw comes out from the back side of the plastic cap. Don't try to repair the solenoid. It isn't worth the trouble. Either replace the complete starter or, if money is tight, just the solenoid.

In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
