Title: Front Suspension Rebuild
Post by: 79Blues on July 17, 2003, 09:50:00 PM
I'm planning to rebuild the front suspension on my truck in the next month.  The bushings are gone, the thing seems to have around 50 shims in the front suspension, and basicly it wanders around more than a woman at the mall.

I know that most of you guys say not to run the drop coils, but is the ride really that bad (I mean the stock ride ain't that good to begin with).  I need to replace my springs since they are so worn out, but I kind of like the height they are at (I figure about 2" of sag due to age).  I thought since the drop springs from the internet are running about the same price as the normal springs from the part store I would buy the 2" springs to keep the look.

When I get all the parts this is going to be a nice looooong weekend project.
