Headlight troubles
« on: January 16, 2015, 06:20:07 PM »
Hi guys don here 81 c10 short stepside. I just installed jegs 16 circut harness and can't get the turn signals on the drivers side to work on their own. And the top light comes on even in low beam.

so do the l/s turn signals come on when the hazards are on?  Is the top light a hi/low beam light?  do both sides come on?

The hi beams are very very dim when it's on low beam setting. Hi beams work great when in hi beam setting. T/s don't work when headlights are on

Are you saying your headlights come on without the switch and the left turn stays on or?
I sounds like you have something wired wrong.

In the pic the lows look pretty bright to me.  Don't compare them to new cars if you are using stock lamps.  Cars behind me flood out my factory type bulbs on low...
