using 1/2T springs
« on: November 16, 2020, 05:42:27 PM »
Hey all, I think this is my first post ever or in a long while, I don't remember. I've been toying with the idea of lowering my 3/4T because I don't use it as a heavy hauler anymore. It's a 78 C20 350/SM465 setup. I've been seeing people say to use the 1/2T coil springs to drop the front but I have yet to find an answer for how much drop that actually gives. My end goal isn't to slam it because I do still use the flatbed for couches and beds and stuff like that. maybe a 2/4 or 2.5/4 at most. One other thing I haven't seen is if it will have any effect on the driveshaft length. I'm also going to be building some "traction bars" but I want to lower it first so I don't waste a lot of materials. Thank you all in advance!!
