Rustoleum Pro Undercoating inside cab?
« on: August 09, 2019, 04:46:58 PM »
Hi,
I sprayed rustoleum rust reformer on the floor pan of my 82 c10 because of some light rust. I want to topcoat it with something to keep water from making the rust worse if it gets in the cab. I have some rustoleum pro undercoating spray and was wondering if this is safe to use inside the cab? I’ve heard of people saying that some of this stuff has chemicals like MDI that can slowly leach into the air and is unsafe. This stuff doesnt look like it has MDI looking as SDS sheet, but wanted to get some experts opinions on here before I spray it. Here is the SDS https://www.rustoleum.com/MSDS/ENGLISH/248657.pdf. If not safe, what are some cheap alternatives?

I guess you never got an answer here did you?
I'd like to know the answer too because I just sprayed some in the floor of my truck.  ;D

Undercoating INSIDE is a no-no. It's called undercoating because you use it under
