« on: August 02, 2009, 09:01:53 PM »
Can anyone help me on this, I got 305 V8 I just got a Edelbrock performer plus cam & intake 2701 EPS I'm going to buy the time chain 7800 for it. It says on the card inside I need to get the sure seat valve springs #5802 I'm wonder if the stock springs would work kit.I like some good answers on this.

if its the performer plus cam stock springs will work. that cam is more of a rv cam. why dont you go with a comp or isky?

With any engine that has 70K miles or more, installing a new cam I would check the spring heights and pressures if your using your stock springs.Or save the trouble get new ones.
