It's probly a LOT easier just to fab up your own little brackets than try to "unweld" them from a suburban floor. You can probly just use some heat and bang out the right shape from some flatstock or something. Or take it to a body shop or something and have them install it. I'm sure they have to do crap like that from time to time.
