Title: Rear Bumper Mounts

If I were to install a Fey bumper (i.e. not NOS) on my 1986 GMC half ton using the mounting kit mentioned in this ebay link cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI....:B:EF:CA:1    will I still need a Bumper Brace Kit such as one offered by   Trucks, Chevy Duty, etc?

That's the brackets I've got holdin my step bumper on my truck.Should be all you need if its a step bumper.

Not sure what bumper brace   offers but I am thinking you are talking about the braces that run out from the frame to near the ends of the bunper. In my experiance aftermarket bumpers are not punched for these. Also in my experiance Fey bumpers are pretty cheesy!
