Proper Routing for 87+ Wiper/Washer Hose in Wiper Arms
« on: April 01, 2019, 04:16:25 PM »
So I got my proper Cowl Panel for my '91 Crewcab installed this last weekend.  Now I can properly route the hose from the wiper arms to the washer nipples that are adjacent to the wiper arm pivots.  But...what is the proper routing?  Should I wrap the hose around the pivot base, so that when the wiper sweep it doesn't bend the hose and drag it in a weird way as to break the hose?

Anyone know or have a picture of a stock vehicle?

They just pop onto the pipe and do not wrap around anything.

Okay...my hoses must be extra long.  They didn't route right without wrapping around the shaft.  We route some of our hoses on Kenworths around the shaft, so as the wiper sweeps across the glass it just unwraps the hose rather than pulling on it weird and fatiguing the hose.  I guess I could cut some length off and route it the other way.
