2015 Graffiti Shows

Hey all members! So every year, at this time, here in Central California, we have a HUGE week long event called GRAFFITI. It is an event that gets eveyone back to the day when cars were cool and fun! It has been going on for years. All based on the car seen back in the day, the 50's, 60's & 70's. For those of you that have seen the movie "American Graffiti", that movie was based on the mid valley car craze and was actually filmed in this area. Tho filmed a few towns over, it was ment to be downtown Modesto, California.

So keeping with the Chevy theme here I only have a few pics of non GM cars, the rest are GM. Today was the first big day and will run thru next sunday.

During the week, Mon, Tues, Weds & Thurs evenings, there are smaller, free shows around town. Friday night consists of a massive parade thru downtown Modesto featuring literally HUNDREDS of cars. Then Saturday and Sunday is another massive car show at a local gas station and restaurant called the Fruit Yard. During the next week there will be thousands of cars ruling the streets of Modesto, coming from all sorts of cool and far away places. People travel from states away to be apart of this Autopalooza. Local businesses, such as the downtown A&W burger joint, do fun stuff every Friday nite during the summer.

I will try to keep uploading pics thru the week of cars and trucks. Tho I have to work, the first small show is actually at my work! Monday nite's show will be at American Chevrolet and my truck will be in the show!

Yea no kidding! There were more camaros then you could shake a stick at lol. Some where resto mods, some where goin for the all original idea, some where more of an asphalt destroyer with sparkly paint.
