New Guy , old truck
« on: October 09, 2019, 03:47:03 PM »

But newer than my last ... 1958 Chevy  3E , upgraded to a 1986 GMC High Sierra 1500 LWB , 305 4v/700R4 . Not too many issues since I got it back from my son (long story , another time) but right now I just want to introduce myself . I'm a late-60's (age , not birth date) lifelong Chevy/GMC fan , I live near Mountain View Arkansas , and my passions include Harley's , bee keeping , and metalworking . My current issues with the truck include a converter lockup that blows fuses and this set of 3.42 gears sitting next to my desk .

Welcome from Mass.
Any pics of the truck?
What's up with the 3.42 gears?

Welcome from Indiana!!!
