How do you test a G80 locker?
« on: March 28, 2012, 07:47:42 PM »
According to the sticker, I have a G80 in my truck. It looks original from the outside like no one has taken anything apart. I popped the cover off months ago without taking any pictures, my fault. Assuming I still have the stock G80, how can I test it to see if it still works? I've seen on youtube the "g80 twist". I don't feel like doing that to my truck right now as I lowered it and it's on some 27" tires. Thanks.

A properly working G80 will... when the right rear wheel starts to spin the left rear immediately takes over, best to test it on sand covered concrete.
