Like stated. Swapped to Vortec heads & an air gap intake manifold. installed hedman headers.

Trying to retain the v-belt setup. Truck has the long/large style a/c compressor.

I'm having problems with the rear upper intake-manifold mounted a/c compressor bracket & lower rear (header bolt mounted) a/c compressor bracket.

I can modify the lower rear bracket to work, the front brackets can be shimmed/bent & what-not to work.

The one that gives me the most grief is the rear upper mount.  the fixed nut hole in the mount needs to be about 1.5" lower to be in range of the slotted piece on the back of the a/c compressor.

Has anyone run into this problem??? I tried searching with several different combinations of keywords, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for...

If i bend the bracket down the 1/5", i will lose outward distance.  Any thoughts?

also, the trans. kickdown cable is now to short (even with an adjustable kickdown cable bracket).  it looks like it needs to be about 2-2.5" longer. trans is a th350.  Anyone run into this??

If they don't have what you need, try March Performance http://www.marchperf.com/ or Moroso. http://www.moroso.com/default.asp

Both of them have pulleys, brackets and other assorted sundries that may or may not help you.

Going to go with a Sanden 508 & alan grove's compressor & ps pump brackets. Going to have to figure out something on the manifold gauge set...
