I assume that you no longer has the ECS sticker on the radiator cowl ?  I have tried a search before on the internet without much luck, I finally had to get someone who had books at what used to be a Chevy dealership, and now is a service center to copy what my truck ECS came stock with.
As far as all the lines, they should hook up the same if you are using the same carb and componets.

For some reason i lost the original fan shrouds where it had the sticker ..i did my research last night which i figure it was not easy finding it but i found one in autozone.com and i just hope its the right one because there was a lot to choose from which made it a lil confusing for me

It looks like it could be right for a 86.  Where are you located and do they require everything that originally came on the truck ?  I know that in CA. everything 76 and newer needs what ever came with vehicle.
Like I said before, the only way to know 100%, is for someone who has access to records for that year to look it up.  Given enough time and someone on here will see it that can do that I am sure.

If you're re-using the quadrajet manifold, then everything should stay the same;  Give me a few---i should have a diagram file around here somewhere for an 83.    Also, the goodwrench 350 has a provision for the ESC sensor on the side of the block.

i will also check the 83 service manual.

But for now, this may not help much but may give you some inspiration:

Oh, P.S.  i just re-read that you have an 86, plus you're in california which may make things very different;  Do you have an A.I.R. pump?

I feel your pain, I live in Sac, CA. that is why I build 73 - 75 trucks now, I hate dealing with smog issues in this state.
