Wheel bearing q?

As always, thank you all for your willingness to share your knowledge..

 Pulled off my wheel to work on my rear brake drums, which was swapped to a full floating axle. I noticed some lateral play, like in and out towards an away from the differential on the axle. Is this a symptom of a bad wheel bearing ? There is no noise, ...

You may just need to tighten the bearing. The best thing would be to take them apart and inspect the bearings and races. Then you'll know for sure and have new seals so the old ones don't start leaking later and wreck your new brake shoes. At least look at the outer bearing and then tighten the bearings if it isn't really loose.
