2 piece timing cover

does the 2 piece timing cover work good when doing a timing chain so you dont have to mess with the oil pan bolts and gasket?thanks

They are beneficial for cam swaps and roller cam thrust bushing service. Not designed to make replacing a chain and gears any different.

You will need to remove the oil pan to install it properly anyway. So remove it all at once, replace the chain and sprockets, then replace the cover and pan gaskets
