Front driveshaft bolts size?-'83 K20
« on: June 08, 2018, 09:57:14 PM »
Recently bought an '83 K20 with a small block and thm400 trans. Engine runs great, transmission feels good, but the previous owner had the front driveshaft stolen from it awhile before he sold it.  Ive found another driveshaft but I'm having the hardest time finding the correct size bolts to connect to the transfer case.

Any help on the specs of the bolts or where to find them would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

PS: this is my first post on here, so I apologize if Im putting this in the wrong place or doing anything incorrectly here

Bolt head size is 5/8" thread size is 7/16" and thread count is 16 (coarse). the length is 1", but should only be the thickness of both flanges + a lock washer. you can go too big so measure. theyre common bolts but get grade 8
