I put on a 4" lift with add-a-leafs in the rear and 33" tires.
The add-a-leafs helped it a lot. Still needs a couple of more inches in the back IMO.
Topless it sits just right in the rear! Don't need no stinkin' top anyway!

It's pretty rough lookin' but I bought it 10 years ago with only 60k original miles from the original owner... It's up to 110k miles now.
Added a 4" BDS suspension lift and 35" tires.
I found these the other day of my first truck so I scanned 'em (sorry about the size, I need to cut them down)! 78 Stepside 4x4... I wish I had some pictures of after I got it painted. No digital cameras back then...
