Copper goop to repair a PCB?
« on: October 11, 2015, 04:37:00 PM »
Is there a pastey copper material or something that will fix a crack in my cluster PCB? It's right next to where the bulb inserts near the top of the fuel gauge. As of right now there is a voltage drop shown in the gas gauge whenever the lights are turned on or the turn signal clicks on. If I put a screwdriver across the cracked part everything appears to go back to normal.

You can solder a repair with a jumper wire or use a printed circuit repair kit.

Could try one of those defroster line repair kits.

Just don't use one that has resistance
