454 Marine engine?

Hey fellas, in my attempt to find a big block for my truck. I cam across a friend that has a early 90s 454 marine engine (no place to mount mechanical fuel pump on the block). Its been taken out of the boat an has been tore down. An has had the crack turned an the block machined with new cam bearings an freeze plugs installed. My question is, would this make a good donor engine for my truck, or should I stay away from it since it was a "marine" engine? Thanks fellas!

Should make a fine foundation for a big block build. It should be a 4-bolt main block.
