96 Cheyenne not starting

My friend has a 96 Cheyenne and its been sitting 4 a month or so...any way we hoped in it to fire her up and it turns over and over and over and over.... but it doesnt start. Its gittin gas- u can smell it after a little. It fired a couple of times a while back but  hasnt for the last how many times we have tried to start it.    Any ideas????

p.s. its got a 350

Check for spark at the plugs.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

As Blazin said, the best and easiest thing to start with is checking for spark.  Pop a plug off that engine and have someone turn the engine over.  Ground the plug to the metal of the engine and see if it sparks.

If it doesn't, That will take you in the right direction: ei:  coil, distributor, ignition switch, etc.

If it does spark, check vacuum, fuel pump, fuel injectors/carb, compression, etc....
