Title: Door and Cab Weatherstripping

1985 C10. Installed new precision on-cab weatherstripping but I have been seeing that there is possibly an upper on-door weatherstrip that is set with screws. I cannot figure out for sure if that applies to my year or if it stopped being applied after a certain year. Thanks

There was an upper door seal at was glued on all models but the 78-87 had a bolt.

Post by: Captkaos on November 01, 2023, 04:13:15 PM: I personally never saw a great benefit to these which is probably why GM dropped them, the door to cab seal pretty much keeps all the water out. When it rains, water will still enter the door gap as it doesn't surround the whole door. It stops and the front curve above the vent window area.
