Rear Shoulder Belt Bolt Thread Size
« on: March 29, 2020, 01:39:18 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm planning to put some 3-point belts in the back (middle) seat of my '87 Suburban V20. I removed the trim inside the cab back there and I see that it has the factory tapping for rear shoulder belts. Does anyone know what size and pitch I would need for bolts for that?

Thanks!

They use a special bolt, (1/2"-13), which has a shoulder and a short head. You should buy the correct bolt.
