« on: March 13, 2004, 10:30:00 AM »
hey im going to order a carb and intake for my stock 350
from what i know anyway. But my question is is im getting
either the performer 600cfm edelbrock with performer intake kit or the performer 750cfm with performer rpm intake kit both are out of northern auto parts but not sure wich one to get? might be ordering a cam and lifters kit later but not sure if that will require the bigger one or not. i dont want to over gas it but dont want to under do it either. thanks

if your minds set on Edelbrock carb, on a stock 350 Id use the 600 out of those 2 choices.
if it were me personally Id probably use a Qjet as my first choice. my second choice would be a 570 cfm Holley street avenger. john

I was also thinking of getting some edelbrock stuff so if you do let me know if it made a big difference.

I know it will make a big difference because mine is a totally stock 350 with the original 2-barrel!!  But suprizingly she will still roast the tires with no problem and its a posi.
