4L80E-based TCIŽ 6x Six-Speed Automatic Transmission
« on: October 29, 2011, 06:51:24 PM »
So its kinda expensive but pretty cool. I would love to have a 6speed and a 411 or 456 gear. does anyone have one or know of anyone using one? They say it handles 850hp so it should be strong. Here is the link for the tranny.

if you race and have mucho denaro in racing equipment, it may be worth it.  I like my 4l80e, but it is the stock version that sits in a 91 2500V subruban. I dont know how many horses she'll handle but she is tough.  It is the 4 speed version incl OD and it has lockup converter.  I'd just as well go to a salvage yard and pick up one of these for much cheaper but make sure you bring along the computer that controls it.
