Inline 6 - 250 ci power steering bracket to 350 sbc
« on: April 07, 2020, 01:17:26 PM »
I can find anything on whether a 250ci I6 power steering pump bracket will fit a SBC. I am doing an engine swap on my 1979 GMC. It currently has an I6 250 ci in that spit at least one rod cap into the oil pan. So it seemed like a good excuse (read as my wife could not say no) to upgrade to a 4 bolt 350. I have a good power steering pump so I would like to reuse it with the bracket from the I6.

Different bracket and different pulley.  Your bracket and pump is worth quite a bit of money versus the run of the mil V-8 set.  Hoses are much shorter if I remember too.
