K10 to K20 conversion
« on: March 07, 2023, 09:22:44 PM »
Hello all,

New here - have an 85 K10 .  I want to replace current 305/700r4 with a Cummins 4bt/manual swap.

Thinking I’d upgrade the Corp 10 bolt to a 14 bolt semi floater.

I’ve read elsewhere that the frames are the same between K10 and K20.   Can anyone who has owned both/knows better chime in and confirm/deny this ?

I’m thinking I should be able to upgrade axles/springs and make it a heavy duty K10/light K20
By beefing things up before the new driveline

Let me know your thoughts….
