I need help with installing my Holley Red electric fuel pump
« on: September 30, 2015, 01:58:35 PM »
I have a 78 c10 regular cab w/ a 5.7L.  I was having fuel delivery problems so I decided to install a holley red electric pump.  I installed the pump just after where the dual tank lines come together and lower than the lines.  I mounted, wired, and hooked up the pump and turned it on.  No fuel is coming out of the line.  I don't think any fuel is getting into the pump at all.  Any suggestions?  Both my tanks are at about 1/4 tank of gas.  Please help!

Did you install the pump in the 5/16" fuel tank vent lines?

could it also be a problem with the fuel tank selector valve?

What kind of fuel delivery problems?  What was wrong with the factory mechanical pump that made you add the electric?
