rear differental
« on: May 06, 2004, 09:21:00 PM »
i pulled the cover of my rear diff, the other day to drain the gear lube and with the plans of lincon locking the diff for the up coming mud runs. What i found was not the normal looking differental that i expected. the spider gears were not exposed like the few other rear ends i have seen. the axle i have is chevy corporate 14 with 4.10 gearing. i wishi had takin a pic of it but wasnt thinkin. so my question is; is that a locker? or just limited slip? i'm still able to raise one rear wheel and spin it freely, if that makes any difference.

thanks guys

Semi or full float?
Does it look like this if it is a 14b full float 1ton axle?
