Good morning, Does anyone know what the measurement might be for a SHORT tail shaft Turbo 350 trans in an '82 Chevy Short wheel base truck might be?
I just bought a fully race built Turbo 350 short shaft trans (everything done BUT a Trans-brake) from a buddy of mine for my truck....but I need to hunt down a driveshaft for it. I don't want to get into the hassle of having one cut or lengthened when I know there are drive shafts floating around that are a drop in piece.
I'm headed back out to a swap meet again tomorrow.....just want to make sure on the measurement before I pay for a driveshaft.
Heck, or also if anyone knows what the stock Turbo 350 long shaft trans drive shaft length for a SWB truck might be that'd work too....because I could just add 3" to that measurement and be in the ballpark.
