75' C-30 Dually
« on: August 19, 2007, 06:36:35 PM »
I have started to gather up parts for the truck to make a dump flat bed. So far I have the dump frame with two stage twin cylinders, a 465 trans and PTO, and the oil tank and lines, I'm going to use a AZ cab I traded for on the truck, It will have A/C, I have bought a 86 front clip for the fenders, and the hood, and I'm going to install the 90 Sub front end on it. I have to convert the cab to standard shift,I have striped a donner truck of all those parts. Power for the truck Is going to be a 427BB. I have the block, heads(65 396) intake and rods, and all the sheet medal. I also have a nice set of GM westcoast mirrors for it. The truck has a hydro boost brakes and a 410 geared Dana 70.
I still need to get 90 Sub core support and grill, 9ft. flat bed and a 427 crank.

 Thanks Chris.
I bought dual gas tanks from a guy in Cullman Al when I used to truck down there. I have saved a 3/4 fender from a semi truck I used to drive, Alum diamond plate I'm going to try to use it, not sure how or if I'm going to fashion it. I'm going to install a set of 98 cab lights I picked up for the truck. I was thinking of using a 8 ft bed leaving a foot of space between the cab and bed and welding up a Alum.oil tank and placing it in there and It would also give me room for the dual chrome exhaust stacks. I still would like to find the rear cab wall that has the small back glass(from a C-60 I think)

There used to be a C60 rear cab on Ebay for a while.
